Communicate with Dynamic Emojis!

The emergence of short-form video content formats like YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels has brought significant changes to the world of video content. Additionally, emojis are also evolving from simple graphic files into more dynamic forms, such as GIFs or Live Stickers in iOS 17. In line with this trend, we intend to develop a new form of social media that utilizes a new type of emoji called dynamic emoji which maps video with a single emoji that most likely to represent the context of the video. This new social media platform will utilize a fresh style of emojis that can maintain the concise and straightforward communication function of emojis while adding the dynamism and expressiveness that previous emojis lacked. By embedding short videos into basic emojis, our app will automatically select the emoji that best represents the uploaded video. We aim to enhance the expressive capabilities of emojis while allowing users to maintain the essence of emojis. Users will be able to react to text-based feeds with dynamic emojis, and share their own dynamic emojis with others! We believe that expressing thoughts using emojis and one’s own short videos can engage users more effectively than simply reacting with traditional emojis. Furthermore, users can explore and use the videos matched to emojis by other users, fostering a new emoji ecosystem. Users will explore a world of unique expressions, as each traditional emoji comes alive with endless creative possibilities from our community.
